Find out whats been happening on track with SGP Racing

Good Morning Racers!

Today we wanted to review the activity that we have been hosting in SGP Racing on Simracing.GP and give a shout out to the drivers who are taking part in some amazing racing with us!

Let’s make a start with the SGP Racing Rookies Series, this series is a welcoming challenge for any new sim racer, or driver new to Simracing.GP, with short, sprint races on Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competzione and Raceroom, drivers can test themselves on a variety of disciplines from open wheel racing on Assetto Corsa to popular GT3 machinery on Assetto Corsa Competizione!

Emanuel Lopez currently sits atop the Rookies tree with 7 wins in their 9 races within the series, the driver has been taking on the Tatuus FA01 and CR1 Sports car across Assetto Corsa and Raceroom to show their expertise of different disciplines.

Toni Nica & Martin Kraaijenbrink also pick up solid results in the first few weeks of the series to see them sitting second and third respectively.

Charlie Randle is enjoying the top of the tree in the SGP Racing Sprint series openers with 2 wins in their 3 races, chased by Daniel Hearn and Daniel Tomlinson close behind. The SGP Racing Sprint series pushes drivers limits with longer race formats and more challenging car and track combinations across all 3 fully supported titles on Simracing.GP.

For Assetto Corsa, drivers move away from the Tatuus FA01 and enter the Audi TT RS (VLN) around standard and modded tracks, introducing drivers to the mod tools that Simracing.GP has allowing drivers to download the needed content direct from the events they register to.

In Assetto Corsa Competizione, drivers still tackle the GT3 car class, but are introduced to longer race formats and mandatory pit stops to give them an element of racing strategy needed in their development as a driver.

The Praga R1 is the vehicle of choice on Raceroom for our drivers to get to grips with a vehicle with an immense downforce package round fast and flowing tracks!

Overall, these series have proven popular with our drivers as a welcoming platform for them to start or get back into their sim racing journey before heading off into the wider world of Simracing with the communities that Simracing.GP has to offer. For the open wheel enthusiasts, Skip Barber Daily is the place to be, those enjoying the fast paced GT3 specialty can find a place with a variety of communities on Simracing.GP including North American Sim Racing Series or Couch Masters. Those seeking variety can find a vast range of racing with our friends from Sim Race South Africa, oNiD Racing and Pro League Racing all who are hosting a variety of events, Championships and series using a variety of titles that we support.
