Simracing.GP and PXN launch the first-ever Sim Racing Pentathlon
Simracing.GP is proud to announce the PXN Pentathlon, a unique five-week competition celebrating the launch of PXN’s new range of professional direct drive wheels and accompanying pedals. The Pentathlon is designed to showcase the diversity of modern sim racing, reward participation as much as pace, and find the ultimate all-round virtual racer.
Running every Thursday evening at 7:30pm BST (6:30pm UTC) from 21st August to 18th September, the PXN Pentathlon will feature five different racing disciplines across four major sim racing platforms: Assetto Corsa, iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, and Assetto Corsa Competizione.
Each round can host up to 500 drivers, divided into multiple skill-based splits for fair racing. Top split races will be broadcast live every week with professional coverage powered by AK ESports.
Unlike traditional competitions, the PXN Pentathlon scoring system is inspired by real-world multi-discipline events like the decathlon—placing a higher emphasis on consistency, commitment, and versatility:
Weekly podium finishers in Split 1 will receive PXN prizes. The overall Pentathlon champions (top 3 on total points across all rounds) will win premium PXN hardware, recognising the most dedicated and adaptable sim racers.
This is not just about winning - it’s about showing up, giving it your best, and representing your all-round skill across every discipline.
