Simracing.GP announces brand new partnership with Intel

Simracing.GP (SGP) can today announce a new partnership with Intel which will see the two brands collaborate on a number of activities in the coming weeks.

The partnership makes its public debut at the upcoming Insomnia Gaming Festival in Birmingham, UK from the 8th to 10th September. The event at the NEC will see SGP operate five sim racing rigs on the Intel stand, with the latest Intel hardware powering an experience with Assetto Corsa Competizione. The attending public will be able to set hotlaps, take part in organised races and even witness industry influencers racing on the set-up.

Separately, Intel will offer opportunities for five deserving sim racers to have their PCs upgraded before coming together in a team to take part in the SGP Rivals tournament.

SGP Rivals will see multiple communities come together in head to head battles across multiple platforms, with one team winning an Intel community donation as well as prizes for the drivers.

Finally, SGP will host some community style racing on behalf of Intel as part of its Gamer Days campaign.

Commenting on the partnership, Head of Sales & Marketing for SGP, Adam Eley said: “Intel is a fantastic brand to be working with and we are so pleased that it sees the potential in the sim racing market.

“Working together, we aim to help sim racers gain a better understanding of how to get the most from their hardware, while providing some excellent racing opportunities at the same time.”

Adding their thoughts, UK, Ireland & Nordic Gaming Marketing Specialist from Intel Mark Broom said: “We are thrilled to partner with Simracing.GP and support its amazing community with some exciting initiatives, including rewarding five deserving racers with the latest Intel® Core™ processors and Intel® Arc™ Graphic Cards for the Rivals' race series.”

If sim racers want to experience the power of Intel for themselves, then the racing rigs will be available to use at the Insomnia Gaming Festival at the National Exhibition Centre from the 8th to 10th September at the Intel stand in the main exhibition hall. The set-up will feature Moza wheels and pedals and Next Level Racing cockpits.

More information on the partnership plans will be released in the coming days.
