Skaistkalns takes PXN Pentathlon Round 1

PXN Pentathlon – Round 1 Recap & Round 2 Preview

The PXN Pentathlon roared into life this week with the opening round at the Nürburgring GP, where drivers battled in Formula RSS4 machinery on Assetto Corsa. With five different racing disciplines spread across four simulators, this unique competition is designed to challenge versatility, consistency, and racecraft — and Round 1 delivered exactly that.

Round 1 Highlights

From the outset, the racing was intense. After 46 laps, Robert Skaistkalns came out on top, securing the Round 1 victory and claiming maximum points from both race performance and bonuses. He edges out Andrea Miatto by a single point in the standings, with Emanuel Lopez close behind in third.

The standings after Round 1 are tight:

  • Skaistkalns – 88 points

  • Miatto – 87 points

  • Lopez – 83 points

  • Lorilla – 78 points

  • Gasior – 74 points

Just 15 points separate the top five, and with the Pentathlon’s unique points system rewarding not only finishing positions but also lap completions and stream participation, consistency will be as important as outright wins.

Looking Ahead to Round 2

The Pentathlon continues tonight with Round 2, where drivers face a completely different challenge. Each round of the series brings a new car, a new discipline, and a fresh test of adaptability. With such close margins at the top of the leaderboard — and over 40 drivers still in contention — expect plenty of movement as the standings develop.

The rules and scoring system mean that every lap counts. Whether fighting for the win or grinding out mid-pack finishes, staying consistent across all five rounds could be the deciding factor in the overall Pentathlon title. You can read the full regulations here.

Don’t Miss Round 2

Join us tonight for live coverage of Round 2 and see how the story unfolds. Will Skaistkalns hold on to his early lead, or will Miatto, Lopez, and the chasing pack strike back?

Stay tuned — the Pentathlon has only just begun.
