(“Official Rules”)

The Logitech McLaren G Challenge Sim Racing Series (“Competition”) is organized by Logitech Europe SA, with its registered address at EPFL-Quartier de l’Innovation, Daniel Borel Innovation Center, 1015 Lausanne, Switzerland (“Logitech”).
The Competition is a video game competition organized in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific Regions (individually, a “Region” and collectively “Regions”) and each Region is governed by these Official Rules. These Official Rules are a binding agreement between Logitech and the Competition participants (“Racers”) and govern all activities performed by Racers in connection with their participation in the Competition. By entering the Competition, all Racers accept and agree to abide by these Official Rules and Sporting Rules (as defined below). Registration is required in order to participate in the Competition.
The Competition will be managed by Simracing gp (“Tournament Operator”) and the sporting rules of the Competition can be found in the following link: ________________ (“Sporting Rules”).
The online portion of the Competition will be run on Assetto Corsa Competizione (“ACC”) which shall be referred to as the “Game” on the PC (“Supported Platform”).
The Prizes (as defined below) awarded in compliance with the Official Rules and Sporting Rules are the consideration for the services provided by Racers in connection to their participation in the Competition.
1. RACERS ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Registration Period(s); Acceptance of the Official Rules and Sporting Rules
Racers must register at https://www.simracing.gp/ and accept these Official Rules and Sporting Rules to participate.
Registration Period:
from October 4, 2022 to February 20, 2023.
All registration forms must be completed and received by the Tournament Operator within the 1
Registration Period.
Any Racer who is under the age of 18 must get permission from his or her parent or legal guardian to register. The Competition is void where prohibited by law.
By submitting a registration form and by participating in the Competition, Racers agree that they (i) are eligible to register and participate; (ii) are committing to provide their services through the video gaming activity in respect of the Competition; (iii) have read and accepted these Official Rules, the Sporting Rules and the Logitech Privacy Policy (link). Racers agree to be bound by these Official Rules, the Sporting Rules and the decisions of Logitech in the context of the Competition. Racers acknowledge that ACC and any other Logitech partners' or contractors’ activities are governed by their respective terms and conditions and privacy policies. Logitech takes no responsibility for any terms of use or policies other than its own. Logitech reserves all rights to disqualify a Racer if they violate any of the terms of the Official Rules, the Sporting Rules or if their conduct is contrary to the spirit or good standing of the Competition.
Logitech reserves the right:
● to alter, amend or supplement these Official Rules and Sporting Rules from time to time as it considers necessary to clarify, correct errors or comply with changes in applicable law, with a goal to ensure a fair Competition for all Racers;
● to cancel, change or suspend the Competition, or any part of it, if cheating, a virus, bug, or any other unforeseen or unexpected event that affects the conduct, safety, fairness and/or integrity of the Competition.
● to modify, suspend, postpone or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, at any time and from time to time, the Competition, or any part of it, with or without prior notice, for reasons outside its reasonable control, including, without limitation, any Force Majeure event (as Force Majeure is defined in Section 7.4).
1.2 Age
Racers must be at least 16 years old at the time of registration and be at least the minimum age required to have the online accounts required pursuant to the Sporting Rules in their country of residence. Racers under the age of majority in their country of residence must have a parent or legal guardian review and consent to these Official Rules on their behalf and accompany them to any in-person events or experiences.
1.3 Residency
Racers must be legal residents in an eligible country to participate in the Competition provided that ACC, Logitech, Simracing gp, McLaren Racing and their respective activities and/or eSports are

not prohibited or unlawful in the concerned country (each Racer to satisfy himself/herself as to whether this condition is met). All countries in the world are eligible except for the countries listed in Appendix A: Non Eligible Countries. Appendix B shows a list of all eligible countries and their corresponding regional classification.
1.4 Logitech Employees, McLaren Employees; conflict of interests
The officers, directors and employees of Logitech, Simracing gp, McLaren Racing, their subsidiaries and affiliated companies, as well as all advertising, marketing and judging agencies, persons engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for this Competition and immediate family members (parents, step-parents, grandparents, children, step-children, siblings, civil partners or spouses) or persons living in the same household (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in this Competition.
2. REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE
2.1 Game Copy and Account
Racers must: (i) own or have access to a valid and certified copy of the official Game (“ACC”) running on the Supported Platform; (ii) have or be willing to have an ACC account with an individual username; (iii) have or be willing to have a Discord account; and (iii) have or be willing to have a Steam account. This username must not include any obscene, vulgar or profane words, phrases or inferences. Racers with a username that does not comply with these requirements will be immediately disqualified at the sole discretion of Logitech. Racers must have own access to the internet and supply their own equipment needed to participate in the Competition, including without limitation, PCs, monitors, consoles, controllers, headphones and headsets, cables and a copy of or authorized access to the Game and valid access to the Game servers that will be used and the Game levels that will be played in the Competition, as applicable.
2.2 Regional Grand Finals
Furthermore, to be eligible to participate in the Regional Grand Finals of the Competition, Racers must:
(a) hold a valid government-issued identification (e.g. passport, ID card, driving license, …); (b) not have been convicted of any criminal offenses;
(c) get parental consent and parental accompaniment if the Racer is under 18; (d) be in good general health to take part in the Competition, at their own risk; and (e) not have an existing racing or sim racing contract with any motorsports team, body, agent

or management company that conflicts with their ability to compete and accept the consideration for the services performed under these Official Rules granted as Competition prizes (“Prizes”).
2.3 Right to Verify Eligibility
Racers must be able to provide proof of eligibility. Logitech reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Racers at any time during the Competition to the extent required for the purposes of the Competition, including requesting that Racers undergo a medical assessment and provision of certified copies of their;
(a) Government-issued identification, such as passport, Identity card, driving license or work visa with a photo, name and physical address in an eligible country; and/or
(b) Utility Bill: a recent invoice from a utility (energy, telephone, or cable) company with name and physical address in an eligible country.
Failure to comply with any verification procedures conducted by Logitech will result in disqualification from the Competition and/or withdrawal of the Prizes.
2.4 Invalid Entries
Logitech will not accept Competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
(d) incomplete.
2.5 Entries per Person
Each Racer may only participate in the Competition under one account. Competition entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not permitted.
2.6 Photographs, Audio and Video
Racers agree to be interviewed, photographed and filmed during all stages of the Competition, and that Logitech, its group companies and their licensees will be entitled to use and exploit any resulting footage, streams, stills, audio and quotes for their own broadcasting and advertising purposes in connection with the Competition, all the finals and/or the Competition, in perpetuity, in all media. The consideration for the granting of the rights provided herein is included in the Prizes to be assigned in compliance with these Official Rules and the Sporting Rules.
3. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FINALS
Racers who qualify to compete in the Regional Grand Finals will not be officially qualified until they sign (or, if the Racer is a minor, their parent or legal guardian does) a participation and release form (“Participation and Release Form”) with Logitech as a precondition to participating in the aforementioned finals, the content of which will require (amongst other things) Racers to:
(a) confirm their acceptance of these Official Rules and Sporting Rules and commitment to provide their services in compliance with these Official Rules and Sporting Rules;
(b) an acknowledgement that the Regional Grand Finals will be filmed and streamed and that Logitech, its group companies and their licensees will be entitled to use and exploit footage and streams of the finals;
(c) an agreement to participate in publicity and media activities relating to the Competition, as required;
(d) consent to Logitech, its group companies and their licensees using the qualifying Racer’s name, voice, slogan, likeness, photographs, images (still and moving), biography, quotes, prize information, in game name, statistics and performance in the Competition for any purpose, including without limitation, commercial, advertising and promotional purposes without further payment or compensation and assigning any intellectual property created during the Competition (as the case may be);
(e) a commitment that they are available for the dates of the Regional Grand Finals. The Participation and Release Form will be provided to Racer at the email address used to register in the Competition. Racers who do not complete the Participation and Release Form within seven (7) days from the notification, fail or refuse to sign and/or return the said form within the required time period will forfeit their place in the Competition.
4. DISCLAIMER
Logitech will not accept:
(a) responsibility for Competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server,

computer hardware or software failure of any kind;
(b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of an entry to the Competition; or
(c) responsibility for any delay, time lag, slow response, congestion of data transmission or slow connection related to the Competition or to in-game activity and actions (including racing related actions), for example, due to remoteness of server(s) or poor internet connection.
5. TRAVEL
Logitech will provide at its expense some travel and accommodations as part of the Grand Prize for 4 Racers who are declared to be the Logitech McLaren G Challenge Champions and who meet all the eligibility requirements. The Grand Prize shall include additional travel and accommodation for one (1) person of the Racer’s choice. In the event that the winning Racer is a minor in their country of residence, the additional one (1) person shall be their parent or legal guardian (as described below). The selection of transportation, airlines, hotels and related transfers will be at Logitech's sole discretion. If any Racer requests special travel plans or accommodation and if the cost of the special travel request exceeds that of the standard final travel plans, Logitech may require Racer to cover the difference in cost.
Such Racers who are declared to be the McLaren G Challenge Champions and who decide to accept the Grand Prize will have to sign the Participation and Release Form prior to accepting travel accommodations to the McLaren Racing Experience.
The parents or legal guardians of Racers who are minors in their country of residence will be required to sign all necessary documents to accept travel and one parent or one legal guardian must accompany the Racer to McLaren Racing Experience. Racer and his/her accompanying parent or legal guardian will share the same travel itinerary and accommodation.
No compensation or refund will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of a flight. The travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and those set forth by the airline carriers as provided in the passenger ticket contract. SELECTED RACERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO TRAVEL, SUCH AS VALID PASSPORT AND VISA (IF NECESSARY), AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THAT SUCH TRAVEL PAPERS ARE VALID PRIOR TO, AND FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF, THE MCLAREN RACING EXPERIENCE AND DURING THE TIME OF THE TRAVEL. TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS, CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS MAY APPLY. To the extent permissible by law, Racers assume responsibility for all other charges and incidental travel costs, including, without limitation, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, taxes and insurance costs and fees. Racers are required to have proper medical insurance for the duration of the stay abroad. Racers may have to pay additional incidental travel expenses to receive the Grand Prize. Nothing in these Official Rules shall deprive Racers of consumer protection rights granted by the laws of their country of residence that cannot be derogated from by agreement.
6. PRIZES
All the Prizes listed in the Sporting Rules, represent the consideration for the services performed by Racers in the participation to the Competition during the performance of these Official Rules. In particular:
● Racers are remunerated for their services with an award that varies depending on the stage that Racers achieve; and
● Prizes will be recognized to the relevant Racer for the services performed and Racers will have no claim of any kind in relation to them.
Prizes will be granted only if participating Racers fully comply with these Official Rules and Sporting Rules. In case of breach of any provision of these Official Rules and Sporting Rules by Racers, they will be disqualified from the Competition and lose any right to receive the Prizes indicated in the Sporting Rules.
The Prizes will be shipped to the address provided by their respective winners in the registration and be fulfilled by Logitech. Prizes are not transferable or refundable, must be accepted as awarded in respect of the services performed and cannot be resold for profit. No cash equivalent or alternative product or prize will be made available; provided, however, that Logitech reserves the right to, without any prior notice and at any time, replace with a similar product or the latest release of a product of the same category. Any taxes and any duties on the Prizes are the winners’ sole responsibility.
Logitech will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners of the Prizes as soon as practicable after the announcements.
The winners of the Prizes will have five (5) days from notification to claim the Prizes as instructed in their notification email. If the Prizes are not claimed in that period, the Prizes will be considered forfeited. The Prizes may not be claimed by a third party on the winners behalf. Logitech reserves the right to offer the unclaimed Prizes to the next eligible Racer.
Logitech does not accept any responsibility if the winners are not able to get their Prizes.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
7.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, Logitech, McLaren Racing, their agents or distributors t7
will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of participating in the Competition or taking up the Prizes except where it is caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Logitech, McLaren Racing, their agents or distributors or that of their employees. The winners’ statutory rights are not affected. Furthermore, Logitech, McLaren Racing, their agents or distributors disclaim any liability regarding any certifications, authorizations or contests authorization related to the Competition or esports.
7.2 Logitech, McLaren Racing, their agents or distributors accept no responsibility for any costs associated with any prizes or participation in the Competition that are not expressly stated to be their responsibility in these Official Rules. Additionally, each winner of a Prize is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on its income.
7.3 Logitech, McLaren Racing, their agents or distributors further hold no liability for any injury or damage to any Racer or any other person’s computer or console, relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition save to the extent that (i) death or personal injury is caused by Logitech, McLaren Racing, their agents or distributors gross negligence; (ii) such liability arises from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) for any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.
7.4 Logitech, McLaren Racing, their agents or distributors shall not be liable for any failure to comply with their obligations relating to the Competition where the failure is caused by something outside their reasonable control or force majeure (“Force Majeure”). Such Force Majeure shall include, but is not limited to, epidemic, pandemic, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
8. OWNERSHIP OF COMPETITION ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
8.1 By submitting a Competition entry and any accompanying material, the Racer agrees - against Logitech’s commitment to assign the Prizes in compliance with these Official Rules - to:
(a) assign to Logitech all intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive - within the limits provided by applicable laws in the country of Racer’s residence - all moral rights in and to the Racers competition entry and otherwise

arising in connection with the Racers entry to which the Racers may now or at any time in the future be entitled under all applicable legislations. Any statutory diverging rights are not affected.
8.2 The Racer agrees that Logitech may, but is not required to, make its entry available on its website https://logitechgchallenge.com and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Competition. The Racer agrees to grant Logitech a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the Competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, reformat and sublicense the Competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
8.3 Racers shall not associate themselves with the Competition in any commercial manner, nor use any intellectual property rights of Logitech, nor modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works, nor shall they permit any third parties to do so, without the prior written consent of Logitech. The recording, dissemination or any exploitation of images of the Competition without Logitech’s prior approval is strictly prohibited.
9. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
9.1 Privacy Policy. Logitech is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of Racers in this Competition, as described in Logitech Privacy Policy (link). Before entering the Competition, Racers should carefully read the Logitech Privacy Policy, which explains how Logitech collects, uses, shares, and discloses Racers’ personal information during the Competition, and the data protections that Logitech has put in place to protect the privacy of Racers. The Logitech Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Official Rules as if fully set forth herein.
9.2 Collection and Use. Logitech collects and uses Racers’ personal information during the Competition, including when a Racer uses Logitech’s products and services, such as when a Racer receives services from Logitech. Logitech uses the information collected to ensure the proper operation and administration of the Competition, conduct promotional giveaways and to provide Logitech’s products and services to Racers. Logitech may also use the information collected for publicity purposes, as stated within these Official Rules; and may notify Racers when they win the Competition or if there are updates to Competition (such as when the Competition closes), and to let Racers know of special promotions, events and policy changes, using emails, text messages and push notifications. Logitech may also collect aggregated and/or statistical data reflecting Racers’ participation in Competition. Logitech uses such aggregated and/or statistical data for tracking, reporting and other activities in connection with Logitech’s business, and in accordance with Logitech’s Privacy Policy.
9.3 Sharing and Disclosure. Logitech does not share, trade, rent, sell or otherwise disclose Racers’ personal information to unaffiliated companies. Logitech may share Racers’ personal information with consent, or as necessary, with partners involved in the Competition or to provide any operations or support to products and services requested or authorized by the Racer. Without limitation, partners involved in the Competition are: McLaren Racing, Simracing gp, Splunk, RaceDepartment and ACC.
9.4 Storage and Protection of Information. To help protect Racer personal information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure, Logitech uses a variety of security technologies and procedures, including SSL encryption. Logitech may store and process personal information of Racers in the United States, or in any other country Logitech or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or service providers maintain facilities. Logitech takes steps to ensure that the data it collects is processed in accordance with the Logitech Privacy Policy, the Official Rules, and the requirements of applicable law wherever the personal information is located.
10. GENERAL
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Official Rules and/or the Sporting Rules, Logitech may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude the Racer from participating in the Competition.
10.2 All decisions regarding the interpretation of these Official Rules, Sporting Rules, eligibility, scheduling and staging of the Competition lie solely with Logitech (and anyone acting on its behalf), whose decisions are final. Unless otherwise provided for in the mandatory applicable laws of Racer’s country of residence that cannot be derogated from by agreement, Logitech’s decisions cannot be appealed and shall not give rise to any claim for monetary damages or any other legal or equitable remedy. Racers agree to be bound by Logitech’s (and anyone acting on its behalf) final decisions.
10.3 Logitech reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.4 Unless otherwise provided for in the mandatory applicable laws of Racer’s country of residence that cannot be derogated from by agreement, these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lausanne, Switzerland.
