    V1.1 13th August 2025

    • Every Driver participating in any SGP event or competition agrees to have understood the rules, and agrees to obey the rules. By entering the event, the drivers or teams are bound to the Rulebook provided by the organisers.
    • Failure to understand the rules is not an excuse. If you have questions about certain rules, please ask the Simracing.GP Team via email (support@simracing.gp) or the SGP Racing Discord Server.
    • The decisions made by the SGP Staff or delegated Race Organisers are final and binding. If a situation is not covered by the rules, the SGP Staff will have the final and binding decision on it.

    Competition overview

    Basic overview
PXN Pentathlon is a competition formed of 5 events in 5 different racing disciplines taking place on 4 different simulator titles. Prizes will be awarded to weekly winners and overall winners.

The competition is sanctioned by Simracing.GP Ltd and will operate within their normal usage guidelines.

    Format overview
Weekly: Each week there will be a stand-alone race event with up to 500 participants across multiple splits. Winners will be determined each week based on racing.

Overall pentathlon: A separate scoring system is used to calculate the pentathlon winner in a manner designed to be inclusive to all competing drivers and giving equal opportunities to win prizes.

    Dates:

    21 Aug - R1: AC - RSS Formula 4 @ Nurburgring GP

    28 Aug - R2: iRacing - BMW M2 @ Oran Park

    4 Sep - R3: LMU - Ferrari 499P @ Spa Francorchamps

    11 Sep - R4: ACC - GT3 @ Brands Hatch

    18 Sep - R5: AC - Clio Cup V @ Donington Park National

    Eligibility
In order to participate in the PXN Pentathlon competition, each driver must:

    • Own an original copy of the PC Version of the simulator title in use that week - playable on Steam
    • Own the relevant DLCs required to compete in the competition (e.g. additional tracks or cars).
    • Be a member of the Simracing.GP Discord
    • Have a valid Simracing.GP account with a verified and current email, including associating their discord account to their driver profile
    • Minimum 18 years of age due to prize money regulations.

Failure to meet this eligibility criteria, could mean removal from the prize awards.

Driver etiquette and code of behaviour
The organiser considers the code of conduct a fundamental aspect in every competition. It is precisely for that reason that if any Driver involved in these sanctioned events acts in any of the following ways, the organiser has the right to disqualify the player and/or team with immediate effect as well as removing them from the community on a permanent basis:

    • Unsporting conduct (deliberate ramming, crashing or otherwise significantly impeding competitors with intention of harming their results).
    • Driver Ping being unstable or over the agreed upon limit of 150m/s for a consistent period of time.
    • Verbal/Communication abuse directed at the organising staff and subjects involved (online and offline) in-game, or on any social platform, websites, forums etc.
    • Any kind of cheating will bring the guilty player to an instant ban from the championship and from our future events; for the avoidance of doubt this includes misuse of in-game mechanics as well as unintended exploits or external cheats.
    • Trolling.
    • Please keep discussions, feedback and opinions in a reasonable and constructive manner.
    • Any postings on social media, discords or other communication channels which damage the brands involved, its competitions, employees, exhibitors or partners will be sanctioned.
    • Or any violation that is defined in Simracing.GP Terms Of Service

    Assetto Corsa Specific notes

For AC events, the standard Kunos provided in-game 'Race Gas Penalty' system will be used. These will not be manually cleared, and the following scenarios can be expected:
    - Any track cuts picked up by the in-game system will be automatically penalized with an instruction to cut gas pedal input (lift off throttle) for a specified amount of time.
    - Drivers will need to follow the instructions shown on screen, to slow down to the minimum specified speed to instantly clear the penalty, or, lift-off the gas completely for the specified amount of time. Note, any gas input before the slowdown penalty has been cleared completely, will 'reset' the penalty time to the full amount.
    - Drivers MUST NOT lift off in a dangerous place e.g. on the racing line or mid-corner especially when there is surrounding or approaching traffic.
    - Any issued penalty needs to be completed before crossing the start/finish line, else the game will automatically disqualify a driver. This penalty will not be overruled post-race.

    Livery and team name expectations
No names, images or descriptions relating to anything of an obscene, harmful or hateful nature are permitted.
In the current climate of multiple global conflicts, we also request that no political imagery/messaging/propaganda are featured on a car skin.
Failure to comply will result in a removal from the competition. This includes driver and team names on any game for the livery selected.

    PXN Pentathlon Points Scoring

    Stand-alone weekly events
No points are awarded within the SGP platform for the individual races - points for the overall pentathlon are calculated as detailed below.

Weekly winners will be determined as those finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Split 1 of that week.
Splits are automatically determined by the SGP driver ranking of the competing driver. Ranks can be improved prior to events by competing in any qualifying events within the SGP platform. https://www.simracing.gp/tutorials/how-does-sgp-ranking-work
