Reporting incidents:

If you have been involved in an incident we strongly recommend the reporting of this to ensure that other drivers learn from their errors. It is also a much better channel for any ill feeling you may have after a crash.

Video submission rules:

All videos submitted as part of reports must adhere to the following guidelines.

  1. All videos must be submitted at 1x speed
  2. All videos must show the HUD
  3. All videos must show the incident from the POV of all drivers involved

Any videos not adhering to these guidelines will see the report automatically rejected.

Stewarding:

Our stewarding team will review any incidents as quickly as possible and the result will be visible to anyone looking at the protests page.

A steward’s decision is final and all stewards should be treated with respect at all times.

Gradient of penalties to be applied:

  1. Warning - Used for minor offences with little or no impact on another driver’s point scoring
  2. -10% points reduction - Used for minor offences with some impact on another driver’s point scoring or breach of rules
  3. -25% points reduction - Used for more significant offences or a second offence following a warning
  4. -50% points reduction - Used for serious offences often involving the wrecking of multiple cars
  5. Disqualification - Used for the most serious breaches of regulations

Stewards have the discretion to imply any of these penalties or any other sanctions based upon the incident in question.

Cheating:

If you suspect another driver of cheating with hacks or exploits and do not wish to submit for review publically then please contact support@simracing.gp with supporting evidence.
