How to launch practice servers for racing games with Simracing.GP

Learn how to set up your own practice server for a race event in a few easy steps.

Simracing.GP is a platform that lets you start practice servers for various racing games, such as Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, RaceRoom and Automobilista 2 in a few clicks.

If you are a DRIVE, SPORT user or a community owner or admin, you can create open practice servers for your friends and community members. Anyone who has the game can join the practice. The only thing you need to do is to spend some fuel for the server time. Communities can use the extra fuel they have for this purpose.

To launch a practice server, follow these steps:

Step 1.  Select a race (event)  you want to practice for

Step 2. Click on the create practice button

Step 3. Choose on whose practice you want to create. You can select user practice if you have a SPORT or DRIVE plan, or community practice if you are a community owner or admin. These options will only show up if you have enough practice minutes left.

Step 4. Configure the settings for your practice server. You can set the time, duration, password, and name of the server. You can also adjust the number of cars, if you prefer to practice with fewer cars than the race. The rest of the settings will be the same as the race you are practicing for.

Step 5. Practice server is scheduled. You can share practice information with your friends. Copy the password for sharing, if it is kept private for your friends only. You can delete your practice server, if you change your mind.

The server will be accessible through your events or community events page.

Step 6. The practice server will be launched at the time you specified. The server name and password will be displayed at the launch time to your community members. The password can be hidden, if you had chosen to distribute it differently, i.e. using your discord.
